Dr. John L. Thompson
Historical Theology and is the Gaylen and Susan Byker Professor of Reformed Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. John Thompson's areas of interest are church history through the Reformation with an emphasis on John Calvin, gender issues and historical theology. He spent several years on staff with Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship in Washington and California. An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), he enjoys working closely with students preparing for ordination. Dr. Thompson has written books and numerous articles centering on Calvin studies and gender issues. His newest work has just been published by Eerdmans.
